PoleKittens Fitness studio policies — Cincinnati's original pole dance studio

The Fine Print.

The way the studio runs — so your first time and your hundredth feel exactly as good as they should.

Most of what’s on this page is common sense. A few things are worth a closer read before your first class — the kind of details that protect your time, your safety, and the experience of every woman in the room with you.

Booking

How to Sign Up.

All bookings happen through our website or the PoleKittens app. We don’t take reservations over the phone, and we don’t hold spots without payment.

Create an account to register for classes, schedule a private lesson, or book a party.

Refunds & Cancellations

Life Happens. Here’s How We Handle It.

All payments are non-refundable, but class payments are transferable with at least 24 hours’ notice. If you need to move a class, cancel through the booking system at least 24 hours ahead and your payment becomes a credit you can apply to another date.

Cancel inside the 24-hour window and the payment is forfeited. The system enforces this automatically.

Class packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Tardiness

Please Don’t Be Late.

Once the warm-up is over, we can’t bring you into class. Cold muscles and pole tricks don’t mix — it’s a safety thing, not a strictness thing. If you arrive after warm-up, the class payment is not refunded.

If you know you’re running behind, message us. We’ll always do our best to work with you.

Privacy

Privacy Is Part of the Curriculum.

We don’t allow guests, plus-ones, or observers in the studio. If someone wants to be there with you, they’re welcome to sign up for the class.

Take all the photos and videos of yourself you want. Film your spins, your inversions, your graduation routine — that footage is yours.

We ask that you only film yourself. Some of the women here have jobs where being seen on social media isn’t an option, and they came in trusting the room would stay private. The same goes for filming instructors or recording the lesson itself — the curriculum is proprietary, and our teachers haven’t signed up to be on someone else’s feed.

At parties, the same rule applies — film your group, not anyone else in the building.

In The Studio

A Few Things to Know.

Phones on silent or vibrate during class. Set yours down by the pole for music or photos between drills — just please don’t take calls during class unless it’s a real emergency.

No food or alcohol in the studio. If you arrive visibly intoxicated, we’ll ask you to sit out and observe with no refund — pole and tipsy is a sprained ankle waiting to happen.

The studio closes for most major holidays. Check the live schedule for modified hours.

Age

You Must Be 18 or Older.

No exceptions. It’s a liability requirement.

Studio Conduct

A Sexy Sisterhood.

PoleKittens is a women-only studio so don’t be a dick. It’s a sisterhood and we keep it that way intentionally.

We reserve the right to refuse or end service to anyone whose behavior makes the studio unsafe or unwelcoming for others.

Before Your First Class

A Few More Things Worth Knowing.

Skip the lotion, oils, and body butter on class day. Pole grip requires dry skin — ashy beats injured.

Take off your rings, bracelets, and watches before class. The poles always win that fight.

If you’re pregnant or recently postpartum, talk to us before booking. Some classes work with modifications. Some don’t.

If you’ve got an injury or condition, let your instructor know before class starts. We can adapt almost anything — but only if we know.

Questions We Didn’t Answer Here.

Class questions — what to wear, what to expect, what happens after Pole 101 — are on the Pole 101 page.

Party questions — payment, parking, what to bring — are on the Parties page.
